NOTES : | This is a demo originally released in May 2002. It shows a software implementation of directories in Sedoric 3. This demo was enchanced in 2004 with a visible display of directories when doing a DIR command: they are tagged with [*].
To go in a directory, simply type its name.
To get out of it (up from one level), type UP.
To create a directory, type MKDIR:NAME , where NAME is the name of your directory. Must be a standard name with no jokers.
The demo stops here, you can't delete a directory.
If your directory name begins with a basic commannd (for instance, TOTO begins with the instruction TO), you'll have to "load" your directory to get in: LOAD"TOTO". Just like any other file!
MKDIR must be in a directory if you ever want to create sub-sub-directories. It seems to produce a SYNTAX ERROR, can't remember why, but it works.
Final version never made because of lack of time to analyse and put it properly in the Sedoric kernel. |
