This is a version of the pub game 'Shove Halfpenny' whcih was played on a board of wood with bars painted or carved on the board. You pushed a coin with a finger at the edge of the board hoping to get it to stop on one of the lines.
It works OK in real life but isn't so good as a computer game. But it is an exampleof the early programming that was based on the games we had before computers. |
