Quite a nice conversion of missile command, very fast-paced, nice sounds and smooth animation and target cross-hair movement. HOWEVER, the controls make it almost impossible to play: you have to juggle with K/L and O/; for left/right and up/down, while having to use numerical 1/2/3 keys to fire... which means you ideally need 3 hands to play :-) |

@IBISUM; There are some 'CALL' commands within the BASIC listing so it appears the game is actually a combination of BASIC and M/C. |

By the way .. amazing to discover this is a BASIC program .. it runs so smoothly I was pretty sure it had to be using assembly, but this is not the case - definitely worth looking at the source! |

Probably the best Missile Command clone for the Oric .. great sound effects and high performance means this one can get very stressy at times .. running out of ammo is no fun! A great game, worth investigating for anyone yearning to see just how well the Oric could pull off an arcade classic ..

A very enjoyable version of Missile Command. Graphics and sound are good enough, although not outstanding. Movement is nice and smooth. |
