L'animation est fluide, le gameplay est bien fichu (avec les mines).
C'est mon shoot prefere sur Oric !
Smooth animations, good gameplay (with the mines).
This one is my prefered shoot them up game on Oric. |

I bought this game back in the days and remember playing it quite a lot, I found it quite enjoyable despite the repetitive aspect, I think I was particularly appealed by the graphics and the "originality" of the backing story... Also, animations awas quite good, and the sound effects pretty good too, |

Quite a nice game, I thought at the time .. and still brings back fond memories when I play it now. Can't interest the kids in it though ..

This is a nice game, well programmed and with good graphics. The game is a little simplistic - it could do with a little more variety in the waves, but admittedly the same would apply to the arcade game 'Phoenix' which this has similarities to, so I can't be too critical. Overall a pretty good Oric shooter. |

Graphics are not extraordinary, but I think in average that game is quite playable. A good arcade game. |

Styx is an excellent shoot 'em up, similar to the arcade machine 'Phoenix'. The graphics are nice and move really smoothly. In particular the explosions of the birds are good and that is a nice castle - seems a shame to destroy it! Collision detection is good - you won't get frustrated by dodgy decisions by the computer. There isn't much sound, but what there is is very good and fits in well with the flow of the game. |
