Starting on the twilighte board :
1) Download the game and put all .tap files in the root folder of your storage on the twilighte board
2) rename PETROBOTS.TAP to PETRO.TAP
3) Put petro.db in "/var/cache/basic11/p/" folder (see stuff section below, you must be login in www.oric.org, and the file must be renamed to petro.db)
Under Orix prompt launch

Just stumbled across this game... Can't believe how FAST the scrolling and animations are!!! Really impressive ! It's a pity of course the graphics are monochrome but they are very detailed. I didn't get much far yet, still reading the very long main manual (Commodore version) but it looks like an extremely interesting action/reflexion game!
PS - you HAVE to go to https://www.the8bitguy.com/32054/free-petscii-robots-for-the-oric-1-atmos/ and download the ZIP to get the main game manual, it should really be added here in the "Stuff" section below, together with the "Oric User Guide" which only serves as a reference for installing and showing what keys are used in-game. |
