PROGRAMMERS AUTHORS : | unknown |
TYPE : | Tape copier |
RELEASE DATE : | 1984 |
PLATFORM : | |
CATEGORY : | Others |
SECOND CATEGORY : | Utility (Software House) |
ORIGIN : | |
NOTES : | Protected tape signal on the original tape.
Transfer seems OK.
Manual on inlay and inlay_b.
The TAP file is a cracked version, thanks to Dominique P. We tried to keep it as close as possible to the original file, only 4 bytes were changed. The protection was a more complicated signal decoding; basically we just zapped the non-standard routines.
This cracked TAP file might not work on Oricutron, so the program was also kept as a WAV file at 4800Hz (loads on Euphoric and Oricutron).
Another unknown source was uploaded. |

Yeah, superb piece of (small) code which made program-duplication a dream. Lothlin is correct - I used it to knock out the Mirage tapes. |

Would love to know more about this software.
Question though, why would a tape copier only be on the disk platform? he he |

If this is the same program that was popular in the UK as M.C.S., then it is a good and useful piece of software. I think that Rob Cook, of OUM / Mirage, used it to produce their tapes (he did not have a disc system in the early days of OUM). |
