Very almost a backgammon to me on my first play of this version.
Smooth gameplay indeed, especially if you cheat by playing it on Euphoric and pressing F4 (doubling the CPU speed).
The graphics are indeed simple, but excellent use of screen colour codes.
Overall a very playable game of backgammon. |

Graphically and sonically simple, this is nevertheless an excellent game. It certainly does play a satisfying game of backgammon. |

This is the best backgammon I've played on the Oric. Far better than the IJK version it plays a better game and doesn't seem to have the problems with random (or lack of it) that the IJK program had.
I've not been able to convert this to disk. You can put the file to disk put it doesn't run. The only way to convert it back to tape (or tape image) is to use Supercopy. |
